  • Mt Colah Hornsby ulysses start here for all rides. McDonalds carpark is on the cnr of Lady St and Pacific Hwy. Mt Colah. McCafe is here. Caltex are about 1 km north on the highway and stock Vortex Premium (98 Ron) if you need to top up

    Pacific Hwy " BP Koala is here right on the Y junction, and reopened Jan 09 after refitting new fuel tanks. Also a good meeting place for rides.

  • Down hill run starts with about 6 hairpins. Watch cars and bikes taking up too much road at the hairpins. Try not to stop on the hairpin, it gets tricky starting off again for bigger bikes as the road slopes all directions.

  • There are two ferries here and both operate in busy periods, being cable operated, this is the oldest cable ferry in NSW. Thgere is a kiosk, but it is pretty basic. Toilets available. Will have to queue for a place on the ferry but not usually for very long. Free service.

  • Picnics grounds here have gas BBQs free to the public courtesy of Gosford council.
    Shelter and a good toilet. Fantastic look out over the dam which is about 22% full now.
