  • Wine Country RV

  • This is where we camped for the weekend. Nice place if your into camping. There is a water park right next door if you have kids, and Firestone Winery as well.

  • Geneseo Rd.

    at 8km
  • Keep an eye out for this turn as it comes up quick and they were doing a lot of work on the roads (7/30/10).

  • Union Rd.

    at 11km
  • From th 46 to Union Rd. there are some great "whoopties" that'll get you goin' if you hit 'em fast enough. Road in good shape, little traffic.

  • Geneseo Rd. T-bone

    at 12km
  • Got here and wasn't sure which way to go, so we turned east, which was a great choice.

  • Linne Rd.

    at 17km
  • Another choice to make. Knew we were looking for the 41 so opted to turn east again. Between the last T-bone and this one, some slower roads with great scenery. A little rough at times, but great for cruising. Don't recommed racing on this section. Low traffic

  • Amazing Ranch Area

    at 20km
  • This section of Geneseo Rd. is in great shape with fairly straight runs and long sweeping turns. There are some amazing ranch's out here. MONEY!

  • Creston

    at 25km
  • 41 Intersection

    at 25km
  • La Panza Rd is a great run to the 58 which in itself is one of the greatest roads in CA, but we were heading to the coast.

  • 41 sweeps

    at 37km
  • This is a great section of the 41 with sweeping turns and several elevation changes. There are some patches along the way but not too bad.

  • Atascadero

    at 43km
  • Once you head out of town from here, there are more long sweeping turns and elevation changes, with a few tight turns and the road in good shape, but get ready for the temperature to change (Summer) once you get to the top of the hill and start heading down. Before you get to the top, pull over when you can because once you head down, there are few (if any) places to pull over.

  • Morro Bay

    at 73km
  • Cooler during the summer (low 60's). Went to the warf and shopped around.

  • Cayucos

    at 81km
  • Old Creek Rd

    at 81km
  • If you like to cruise, this is a great little run. A bit narrow and some slightly rougher road at times, but great scenery and changes in road turns.

  • Whale Rock View

    at 87km
  • If you have some time to stop, do so here and take a picture looking back towards Morro Bay. Missed the opportunity on this run.

  • 46 Intersection

    at 96km
  • Liked Old Creek Rd. so much decided to continue on Santa Rosa Creek Rd. Mistake! Unless you have a dual purpose bike, I wouldn't take this road. Although there are some great views, the road is in bad shape, narrow and nearly got run off the road a couple of times. We were on cruisers, which this road was not made for. Very tight turns and slow going for a long time. Next time would have headed to Cambria via 46 and then headed back to Paso.

  • Cambria

    at 121km
  • Whoo! That was a long stretch of rough road in shady areas where with sun glasses on you can't see the ruts and pot holes, and there are a lot of them. Won't do that again.

  • Cambria Pines

    at 123km
  • Red Bull

    at 123km
  • Stopped to walk around and get a drink. If you like window shopping in little towns, here's your spot. Again, weather a little cooler but we kept our long sleeve T-shirts on from Atascadero to here and didn't take them off until nearly back to Paso, where it heated up again.

  • 46 Again

    at 132km
  • Back to the 46, where we should have come down from, but was trying to avoid riding the same road twice on same run. Old Creek was worth it though. Get ready to climb!

  • Ocean and Rolling Hills

    at 144km
  • Again, another great stopping place for picture (or at least somewhere around here). Near the top of this awesome grade if you look out to ocean you can see Morro Bay rock (on a clear day). This section of road is in great shape, except a couple of recent spots that look to have been recently repaired for land slide activity, but if your bike has torque, hit it.

  • Vineyard Dr.

    at 160km
  • Gotta cruise this road, looks interesting.

  • Paso Robles

    at 172km
  • Back @ WCRV

    at 178km
  • Done! 112 Miles round trip. Man it's hot here! THere's a 76 just before you get to Airport Rd, which has decent priced gas.
