Starting point Uncle Leo's Roadhouse, Cambelltown Road, Glenfield. Just down from Cross Roads Hotel.

Veer left off freeway at the Narellan Road turn off, keeping left to head left to Narellan Road.

Follow off ramp around to the left onto Narellan Road heading towards Campbelltown.

Turn right at Gilchrist Drive.

Turn right onto Kellicar Road at lights.

General store on left at Menangle. Continue straight ahead on Menangle Road.

Turn right onto Picton Road. Mabye a little bit of loose gravel on this corner.

Turn left onto Prince Street and cross over Victoria Bridge. One lane so give way to oncoming traffic.

Turn right at roundabout onto Thirlmere Way and go under rail underpass

Turn left and continue on Thirlmere Way up the hill. New road surface up hill.

Turn right at roundabout onto Oaks Road across train crossing.

Turn left at roundabout onto Barbour Road. Toilets, food, drinks and hotel can be found here at Thirlmere.

There is a short walk to Cave Creek. Take a torch and explore the creek tunnel for a few hundred metres.

Turn left at Colo Vale onto Church Avenue. Head east towards Southern Freeway.

Continue straight ahead through both roundabouts onto Old Hume Highway through Alpine.

Continue straight ahead on Old South Road through roundabout.

Continue straight ahead on Old South Road. Speed limit drops to 70 and some times police radar have been seen around here.

Continue on straight ahead onto Eridge Park Road, heading to Moss Vale.

Continue on straight ahead at Roundabout onto Illawarra Highway/Argyle Street towards Moss Vale.

Veer left up Throsby Street.

Continue straight ahead onto Ringwood Road, heading towards Bundanoon.

Turn left onto Railway Avenue, heading towards Bundanoon.

Cafes, toilets (near cnr of Osborn Ave). Try the Ye Olde Bicycle Shoppe Cafe.

Turn left onto Penrose Road.

Road turns sharply right to go under railway. A bit of caution here.

There's floodway along this section that zooms up out of nowhere. Can be safely taken at speed limit.

Turn left onto Hume Highway heading towards Marulan.

Fuel, food, toilets, drinks available at service station at Marulan.

Turn left at new overpass being constructed onto South Marulan Road. Watch for loose gravel here on road surface.

Turn left onto Mountain Ash Road to Bungonia.

Flood causeway here. Cross at safe speed. Can come up quickly.

Turn Right onto Cullulla Road. If you continued straight ahead it turns to gravel road.

Veer left onto Cullulla Road. This used to be a corner but has been realigned.

Good food, drinks at Loaded Dog Hotel, fuel available. Continue straight ahead on Tarago Road. Heading towards Bungendore.

Turn left onto Lowe Street.

Take third exit at roundabout onto Cooma Street.

Choice of road here. You can continue straight ahead on Old Cooma Road or turn right onto Burra Road. They both take you to the Monaro Highway.

Turn right onto Williamsdale Road. Alternatively continue on Burra Road to Michelago. This road turns to gravel.

Turn left onto Monaro Highway heading towards Cooma. Fuel, etc availableat Williamsdale.

Food, fuel, toilets available at Michelago.

Watch for radar traps around Bredbo. Police presence on highway around these parts.
