  • Lilydale

  • This was the starting point of a Ulysses Club ride, to three of my favourite roads.

  • Warburton Highway

    at 21km
  • Boring transit portion, but pretty scenery.

  • Warburton

    at 43km
  • Leaving the suburbs now, and heading into the hills.

  • Reefton Spur

    at 69km
  • One of the twistiest bits of road around Melbourne. Low traffic, lots of switchbacks.

  • Marysville

    at 97km
  • This town was practically wiped out in the Black Saturday Bushfires earlier this year.

  • Buxton

    at 108km
  • Eildon

    at 142km
  • From Eildon we took Skyline Rd. to Alexandra. No straights at all ;-)

  • Alexandra

    at 166km
  • Just south of Alexandra we cut through some brilliant farmland to Molesworth, and avoided the main highway.

  • Yea

    at 199km
  • This was our lunch destination.
