Most of this is gravel road. There is a hike included at Mont Cayamant, where there is a steep climb of stairs up a mountain and up an observation tower, roughly 170 vertical meters (560 feet).

Parts of this ride have difficult terrain, including riverbed crossings and very rocky and steep sections. Not recommended for beginners, solo riders, or those without off-road tires; do not proceed past Swamp Hotel unless prepared for these off-road conditions.
