Medium difficulty with areas with rocky roads and long hill up road rides. You may find it fun but tiring if you are new to off-road riding.

Nice ride though the Forrest's on wide tracks suitable for 4x4, so be cautious around blind bends. Some parts have fist sized rocks on the road so recommend you deflate you're tires a little. Some nice ankle deep creek crossings (could be deeper if it's rained), only a few metres across.

Suitable to confident beginners. This is the second off-road ride I've done, but I did drop the bike twice, so if skills have lots of room for improvement then I recommend crash bars. I dropped my bike just after the prison turn off in the sand on the first corner. The second time I was at the end of the ride and choose the steep hill to the carpark instead of going around. Dropped it at the top of that small hill. No damage to the bike luckily on both drops. Most people won't drop their bikes if the track is dry.
