About 1hr 20mins start to finish. When you get to Desert Lake Road, keep an eye for loose gravel and sand, especially on the Eastern half of the route, past Desert Lake and all along Bedford Road. There was quite a bit of sand along that stretch in the early Spring. By mid-August it was mostly gone, but not completely.

There's a short stretch of road around here that is under construction. Gravel surface.

Great place for a picture of the bike(s) with the lake in the background. Sand on the road from here most of the way down Bedford Road. Especially bad in early Spring. Mostly washed away by mid-August.
