sorting out the car trouble ( a leaking hose) slowed us down and we had to halt here for the night.

finally at this point we hit the NH3 (having missed the turn at newali to reach sendhwa) we were hoping it wud get faster from here but with the four laning work in progress, it wasnt so.
bought a brake hose here as a jugaad for the original hose, which worked beautifully and needed no tinkering at all for the rest of the journey. :-)

started the next day for Fort Amla, a heritage resort abt 135 kms away.

this is the heritage resort, where we were hosted by the charming prince Raghvendra. a lovely experience. stayed here for the 23rd night. went for a lake by the evening for a party organised by the prince.
started the next day again for maheshwar stayed in the tents at narmada retreat.

reached mandu by 10.. saw a few monuments, one day is too less for mandu, hoping to be here in the rains next year and enjoy the beauty and glory of mandu.
on 26th morning at 6, started the drive back home, hoping to reach by 7 but managing only by 10.

reached the renaissance winery retaurant at 3-30 for lunch. spent over 2 hours relishing the food and enjoying the wine.

it was 6 by the time we reached nashik and beginning to get day. a boring commute to home ahead.

the group splits here. we head north, sam and sabi head south home.
