Awesome fish at the pub at Ouyen, awesome dirt road and camping in Hattah Nat. Park. Awesome isolated roads back down to Lake Victoria, then follow the river down to the mouth both sides. No, you can't drive across the barrages, but worth looking going onto the islands both sides anyway! Awesome twisties down towards Kangaroo Island then back up to Mannum (good museum for steam engines and paddle boats there), then back to Adelaide. Awesome twisties up near Port Augusta, then awesome twisties into Quorn. Awesome dirt road across to Cradock, particularly at sunset. Unfortunately, I was racing some torrential downpours and fading light, so didn't stop the 30 seconds necessary to take awesome photo. Awesome paved and dirt roads through Flinders Ranges - I particularly liked the Brachina Gorge Geological Trail. Stopped slightly short of Marree because of impenetrable water across the road. Didn't want to camp a second night in the Flinders because of horrible winds, so stayed at Parachilna. Missed out on Lake Eyre, Blinman, Arkaroo, Lake Gairdner, Lake Acraman, etc. Next time.

Great short dirt road particularly at sunset to Cradock pub. Lovely dirt road through Flinders Ranges - through their display of the geological time series. Couldn't get past floods just short of Marree.
