The End
Thonon les Bains
dont miss the turn on to the D12, you do not want to be IN TlB.
Junction to Orcier
Chance to tranverse to the D26 via Orcier and Lyaud or go over the Col de Feu (only recommended in good weather dry road conditions)
Habere Lulin
Boege
Fillinge
Saint Jeoire
Up we go again
Back in TlB
again, dont miss the turn
Morzine
Option to go via Les Gets or Samoens. Morzine pretty dead outside the ski season.
Or head up the switchbacks into Avoriaz. Do that only after a few good rains in the Spring. Lots of winter gravel otherwise.
Taninges
Stop for a coffe, you've earned it.
Cluses
The Col de la Colombiere still closed. So bypass Cluses on the south, same for Bonneville.
Petit Bornand
In the summer head up to the Col de la Glieres. Last bit of road is unpaved but you get a mountain lodge with typical Savoyard food.
D12 hey we were on that road before
D4 junction. In the summer can go over the Colombier. Grand Bornand quite busy at all times of the year, many decent terraces to soak up the sun and lunch. If it is not sunny, you should not be here.
Saint Jean de Sixt
The long way home via La Clusaz and the Cold des Arvis on teh D909, but this early in the season opt for the westerly route to Thones.
Annecy
The road layout is a mess.
Cruseilles
You can take the D1201, but the D15 is by far the more interesting option
Veyrier
Reentering Switzerland.
