Hornsby

Berowra

You can take the Berowra exit from the F3 freeway if you want to avoid slow suburban traffic from Hornsby. This is the start of the fun bits. Watch out for bicycle riders and police in un-marked cars, on bikes and lurking with radar at the sides of the road. Other bike riders will let you know if they are around.

Pie in the Sky cafe

Great pies. A stop often used by members of the Ulysses Club.

Hawkesbury River Crossing

The old road crosses the river running parallel to the expressway

Mooney Mooney

Get fuel here if you need it.

Mt White

The famous Mt White Cafe - a mecca for bike riders. You can stop here or keep going for more twisties.

Calga

You can continue on the "Old Road" toward Gosford or take a left and head towards Peats ridge and on to the Hunter Valley.
