My first ride. Riding with my neighbor on my first ride. Well, first ride other than the 17 miles to bring the bike home from the shop where I bought it.

Hairpin curve.
I dropped off the edge of the pavement (about an 8” drop) and wedged the bike between the pavement and the guard rail. My partner had to help me get it back on the road. Was almost stopped when I dropped off the edge. No injury, and minor cosmetic damage to the bike.
