Very narrow road but very picturesque

All down hill and very narrow. Keep to the left and keep alert for oncoming cars, especially trucks and 4WDs

This little town has a strict 50 kpm limit and there are always people on foot to watch for.

Toilet stop . Good public toilets available here. Electric BBQ and 6 picnic benches under a shaded covered pergola for all weather. Cost for BBQ is 20c pieces for a limited period. Have coins on hand. There is a fresh fish co op right opposite if you ever want to grill fish in the picnic area. Cold drinks can be bought here. Wyong Council maintains the public toilets here. It is quiet and pleasant with extensive views of the Budgewoi lake. Feed the Pelicans here if you are game.

Approaching F3

Follow the 83 signs to Sydney. We will either take the old road (83) to Cowan OR take the F3 turn to Brooklyn then rejoin the 83 to avoid the 60kpm route between Calga and Brooklyn. We can decide at the time. I show the F3 route here.
