Bellingen
Popular tourist stop, good bargains from the markets on weekends and also holds a great jazz festival
Thora
Local Store last Petrol until you get to Dorrigo Now you have 14klms all uphill on the side of the mountain :)
1st Waterfall
After heavy rains the falls here can go right across the road and close the road. 1 lane across the face of the falls with 'Give Way' sign to uphill traffic. There is a parking area and lookout here to stop. Views out over the valley below
2nd Waterfall
Road narrows to 1 lane here also to cross the falls 'Give Way' sign to uphill traffic
Scenic Skywalk turnoff
If you want to walk on air go out to the skywalk and walk out over the top of the trees and mountain void some spectacular views here
Dorrigo
turn right at the Obelisk to go to Dorrigo Waterfalls. 100m down on left call into 'Juans Cafe' renowned as smallest motorcycle museum in the world. Lots of interesting posters and a few bikes to check out
Tyringham Rd Turnoff
Turn Right for an Alternate Route: some good winding sweeping bends this way
Armidale Rd Intersection
Left takes you to Ebor, Armidale Tamworth. Plod occasionally cruises through here to Dorrigo.
Tyringham Rd
This is where the alternate route through North Dorrigo comes out. If you aren't grinning yet the fun is not over not by a long shot It is just beginning.
Dundurrabin
Warning: The road ahead does not have livestock fencing for the next 50klms so watch out for roaming livestock and of course the odd kangaroo or two
ps: bet you lose count of the corners too. :P
Nymboida Roadhouse
Nice place to stop and enjoy a meal while overlooking the river below. Albeit some staff need educating in hospitality. Accomodation is available here also
Coutts Crossing
Pub here is not bad for a meal or cold drink. Fuel Station here also
Orara Way Turnoff
Continue Straight ahead here to go into Grafton (only a few klms). All amenities are available there.
Glenreagh
The local pub 'Golden Dog' is popular stop for local ulysses club members and is bike friendly
Nana Glen/Bucca Rd turnoff
An Alternate route here if you continue straight to Coffs. Via Coramba, Karangi and enters Coffs from the West.
Central Bucca Rd
Another Alternate route here if you turn here follow signs to Bruxner Park Lookout, overlooks Coffs Harbour and then winds down the Hill through Banana Plantations quite twisty.
The Big Banana
Noted toursist stop with plenty to see or do here. Iceskating indoor ski slope, toboggan. See and sample traditional rock candy made at the candy Factory.
