After the village of Mieussy hook a left at the roundabout towards Messy

Twisties up through the fields and forest, then views of a spectacular gorge, before Sommand

More spectacular landscape. Nothing trister than a ski resort in the summer. All boarded up.

Hook left towards Morzine and on to Thonon, or right towards Taninges

Ugly town, dont follow the 'Toutes Directions? sign, but the Chamonix 'Mt Blanc' through the town center, then right at the roundabout or indeed left to Chamonix

towards the Col de Colombier, a famous mountain climb of the Tour de France

Keep going up the Colombier or take the D119 back down to the valley, long sweeps over a high plateau followed by tight turns

Take a break enjoy the scenery.

Avoid the town in high season, too busy, tour coaches, etc. Pretty it is though

Via La Clusaz down to Flumet and lots of other options or via Thones to Annecy, or the D12 via Entremont

For the adventurous go up to the Plateau des Glieres. Restaurant at the top, the road over the top is an unmade track for a couple of 100 m. Then the D55 to Thorens and teh D"
